Karavaan

Description

People across Pakistan rely on disconnected platforms like WhatsApp, Facebook, and Instagram to coordinate communities, events, and fundraising causes, fragmenting communication and reducing participation. In response, Karavaan emerges as a unified social platform, developed in partnership with SpurSol, bringing together community building, event discovery, secure fundraising, and real-time messaging into a single cohesive ecosystem. The project identified critical gaps in how people discover relevant causes, organize volunteers, and track donations transparently. Karavaan addresses these through role-based access controls, transparent donation tracking, and a machine learning-driven recommendation algorithm that connects users with communities and events aligned to their interests and location, empowering people to collaborate and create meaningful social impact.
